Yana Chirko is an associate in Dentons’ St. Petersburg office. She has been practicing since 2008 and specialises in handling, securing and protecting software rights. She is experienced in supporting complex transactions and due diligences concerning intellectual property, FMCGs, telecoms and hotels under Belarus law.

Until 2013 Yana was a leading lawyer in one of the largest law firms in Belarus. She has extensive experience in customs and administrative protection of trademark rights holders against counterfeits, franchise deals, goods distribution, transactions in the IT sector, related rights handling, creation of accounting systems and managing works for hire. In addition, Yana advises on issues of unfair competition and unfair advertising, as well as regulation of .by domains.
