I will speak about our experience in building BRE-containing systems. BRE (business rules engine) is a way to give non-developers a set of tools to write a code, and, if needed, implement changes rapidly. I use one of the anti-fraud components as an example to look at development issues, the pros and cons of such an approach, and things to remember during development.
