This work is devoted to extending of the OpenMP/GPGPU hybrid programming pattern to achieve better computational resources utilization. The approach is applied for seismic data analysis, namely to convert common image gathers to 3D velocity field. The original serial code written by Amberg Technologies AG, Switzerland has been optimized with SIMD processor instructions, and parallelized by utilizing shared memory parallelization and GPU accelerator. The total speedup achieved on the target machine equipped with Intel i5-4570 and GeForce GT 640 is about 7 times.
